Our marriage ceremony will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Byzantine Church officiated by Fr. Adam Lowe. Expect a beautiful liturgy filled with hymns and worship. Please plan to arrive early.

1:00pm Marriage Ceremony
We will be getting married at St. Thomas The Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church and follow a traditional liturgical marriage ceremony.

5:00pm Reception Begins
Our reception begins at 5:00pm

5:00pm Cocktails
Our cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm. The bar will be open for anybody 21+ who would like drinks. We'll also reserve this time for our guests to help themselves with appetizers from our charcuterie grazing table.

5:30pm Grand Entrance
The wedding party & newly weds will make their grand entrance to the reception.

6:00pm Dinner
Dinner will begin at 6:00pm with a live mariachi band.

7:30pm Toast and Speeches
Our guest speeches will begin at 8:00pm and ending with a toast.

7:45pm Slideshow & Special Guest
Our story slideshow will play followed by a special guest performance.

8:00pm First Dance
The Bride and the Groom's first dance.

8:05pm Father-Daughter Dance
Father of the Bride and Bride dance.

8:10pm Mother-Son Dance
Mother of the Groom and Groom dance.

8:45pm Bouquet and Garter Toss
Unmarried guests will form a circle around the bride and groom to catch the bouquet or the garter.

9:00pm Cake Cutting
The bride and groom will cut the wedding cake and share cake with our guests.

9:45pm Money Dance
Guests will form a line and clip money to the bride or groom in exchange for a dance.

10:00pm We Party!
Party and celebrate with the bride and the groom on the dance floor!

11:30pm Send Off
We'll send off the bride and the groom outside at the main entrance of our venue.

TIPS
- Not every guest can speak English. Now is the time to practice your Spanish on Duolingo!
- Phoenix weather in October averages around 80-85°F
- Our wedding features an open bar but it will also be heavily photographed. Be warned!
- Our bartender is required to card you when handing out drinks. Please bring an ID if you'd like to consume alcohol.
- We'll leave a tip jar for guests who'd like to tip our bartender.
- RSVP deadline is Sept 15th. If we do not hear from you by then, we'll assume you are not attending. You may make changes to your RSVP at any time before the deadline.
- Due to venue restrictions, please refrain from bringing rice or fireworks.
- If you see a giant cheese wheel on our registry please do NOT get it. Roark keeps putting it there after I keep removing it!

DAY AFTER THE WEDDING
1520 West Baseline Road, Tempe, AZ 85283
We'll be hosting a gift-opening party the day after our wedding on October 22nd at 10am. This will be an event open for anyone to come watch us open our gifts. We'll be having any leftover cake and food as well. This event will be hosted in the Arizona Room inside the Holiday Inn Express hotel. For more information on booking a room at this hotel, please see our Guest Page. You are not required to book a room to attend this event.
